Reading Pride Fundraiser Recap

The Reading Pride Fundraiser on May 20 at the Stirling Guest Hotel was a huge success with attendance of over 160 people. The beautiful Stirling Hotel was a fabulous backdrop to excellent gourmet food, fine wine, special beer, terrific music with pianist Danny Coldren, vocalist Ira Leighton and a jazz trio led by pianist Matt Emkey. The evening also featured the PA Diversity Network Photo Project. PDN was able to photograph 12 new couples attending the event, who wanted to be part of the project. The silent auction of fine art, valuable good and interesting services also was a big hit. Congratulations to the organizers of the event for bringing the GLBT people of Reading and their many allies together for an exciting fun event. See the PDN web site at for photos of the event.
